Digital Papers for crafting.

Sharing is caring!

Examples of Digital PapersI have been using digital papers a lot in my crafting. These are supposed to be used for digital scrapbooking, but I print them and use them in place of the paper from the store. Here’s why I love them.  First because they are often free or very inexpensive, and second because I don’t have to make a trip to the craft store to look for paper if an idea comes to me mid project, which it often does. I guess my brain is a little unorganized like my closet. Third because it’s cheaper than buying paper. I am all in for cheaper.

Make your own

The best way to get paper designs for  free is to use Canva. Just join the site, open a US letter size file and pick from the backgrounds. If you are a Canva user ( and you should be) you can even design your own paper there.  Canva has lots of tutorials and there are many online tutorials like this one on Canva.

Just a note about downloading the images, you must click on each one separately to download and print. This way you can pick only the ones you want to use.

Digital paper is so much fun, and a great way to save money on scrapbook paper. You can print on plain paper, or card stock, whichever is best for your project. I use it with my Cricut machine, and for other crafts as well.

Take a look at the Cricut Maker, it’s the ultimate cutting machine. I will be using this in lots of my crafting projects this year. It’s never too soon to put this machine on your Christmas, Birthday, Mothers Day, or just because list.

The other thing I can’t live without for paper crafting is my HP Envy. It’s not super fast, but it’s easy to set up and operate. It’s wireless so you can put anyplace, and you can even print from your phone. I use my HP Envy for my craft printing, and I also have the the instant ink program, which I love, love, love! My ink just appears in my mailbox, and I think it is less per page to print than if you buy it yourself. Convenient and cheap, my kind of deals. You can get the ink deal at this link.
